Student Affairs Assessment
Mission
The Student Affairs assessment unit drives continuous improvement by guiding evidence-based decisions, evaluating programs and services, and providing actionable insights that enhance student learning, development and success. Our work ensures Student Affairs programs are data informed, strategically aligned and focused on advancing student learning, development and success.
What We Do
We partner with Student Affairs units to design and implement projects that measure impact, highlight student learning and development and capture the experiences and growth of those we serve. Through meaningful data collection and the integration of quantitative and qualitative approaches, we evaluate programs and services while telling the story of our division.
Strategic Goals
- Advance the mission of Student Affairs through comprehensive assessment planning, research and program evaluation aligned with institutional priorities.
- Measure and enhance student learning, development and success using student development theory, benchmarks and accreditation standards.
- Strengthen departments by supporting data-informed planning, policy development, staff training and continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration across Academic Affairs and campus partners through shared assessment efforts, surveys, accreditation initiatives and program reviews grounded in best practices.
