Athletics

  • The No. 3 ranked Comets volleyball team earned its second straight and fourth all-time ASC championship over the weekend in Belton. The NCAA D-III Tournament Selection Show, available online, is at 11:30 a.m. today.
  • Men's soccer also collected it second consecutive and fourth overall ASC title over the weekend, winning the championship on its home field. The NCAA D-III Tournament Selection Show is online at 12 p.m. today.
  • Women's cross country won its first-ever ASC title while the men's team finish second, its highest-ever finish. The NCAA D-III Regional Meet is Saturday in Mount Berry, Ga.
  • Women's soccer closed its season with a loss in the semifinal round of the ASC Tournament over the weekend. The Comets have now advanced to at least the league's semifinals for the past 16 seasons.
  • Nov. 12: Women's basketball vs. Huston-Tillotson (exhibition), 5:30 p.m., Activity Center.

  • Tickets are available for the Dallas Chamber Symphony's "Transfigured Night," 8 p.m., Nov. 15.
  • Tickets for "Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum" are $11, now through Nov. 23.

Veteran Services Center

Business Operations

  • The "Nothing to Report" (NTR) link is now active on the Galaxy homepage. Exempt employees should use this link if they have no vacation or sick time to report in any given month.
  • Training sessions for "Employees Transitioning to Non-exempt" and "A Manager's Guide to FLSA" are now available. Signups are accessible through LEO.
  • With the upcoming exempt/nonexempt transition, all leave requests should be approved no later than Nov. 30.

  • Exterior and interior work is taking place in Phase 3 of University Village to update infrastructure for the new internet network project.
