UT Dallas

Jan. 16, 2018

Vice President for Student Affairs

  • In a recent memorandum from Dr. Benson, it was announced that due to a significant financial deficit being experienced by the university, there would be no mid-year merit salary adjustments or one-time merit payments. Additionally, proposed promotions, reclassifications and reorganizations will require justification and explanation as to why the change cannot be delayed until Sept. 1. It is important to note that this applies to all members of the UTD community and to all funding sources. The change regarding one-time merit adjustments and one-time merit payments is likely permanent.
