Athletics

  • Athletics welcomes the following new hires: Branay Hicks, assistant athletic trainer, Courtnie Ortiz, marketing coordinator, and Beverly Lockett, assistant women's basketball coach.
  • Oct. 30: Women's soccer vs. TBD, 5 p.m., soccer field. ASC tournament first round.
  • Oct. 30: Men's soccer vs. TBD, 8 p.m., soccer field. ASC tournament first round.
  • Nov. 1-3: Volleyball travels to Belton to play in the ASC tournament. After a first-round bye, the Comets will open play at 11 a.m. on Nov. 2.
  • Nov. 2 and 4: Men's soccer has earned the right to host the 2018 ASC tournament semifinals and finals. The two games will be played at 5 p.m. Friday with the ASC title match set for 1 p.m. Sunday at the soccer field.
  • Nov. 2 and 4: With a win Tuesday night, the women's soccer team will advance to the ASC semifinals on Nov. 2 in Abilene (time TBD). With a win on Friday, the Comets will play in the ASC championship at 1 p.m. Sunday.
