Awards and Acknowledgements

  • Dan Goodwin, director of the Student Union, recently delivered the keynote address at the ACUI conference in Denton. He spoke about how facility signage, especially construction signage, should evolve and interact with your students instead of talking at them.
  • Congratulations to Greg Melton, coordinator of memberships and student development in University Recreation, who won the fall CARE award given out by Staff Council.

Athletics

  • The baseball team is working with Wreaths Across America to lay wreaths at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Dec. 15. If you would like to sponsor wreaths for the event, visit the WAA website.
