and Acknowledgements
- Matt Grief, associate vice president for Student Affairs Housing Operations, was inducted as president of the Southwest Association of College and University Housing Officers (SWACUHO) on Feb. 19. The organization serves schools in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas and provides leadership and educational opportunities for its members.
- Rachel Deen, student development specialist in Residential Life, received a fall 2018 staff scholarship.

- Dr. Kim Burdine, assistant director for community engagement in the Student Counseling Center, recently presented Cultural Considerations in Offering Mindfulness-Based Groups at the American Group Psychological Association Annual Conference in Los Angeles. She also presented Calling In vs. Calling Out: Navigating Interactions with Self-Identified Allies at the National Multicultural Conference and Summit in Denver.
- Connor Dizor, student development specialist in Residential Life, and Ryan Wasilewski, Residential Life coordinator, with the help of Evelyn Kosalka, student development specialist in Residential Life, presented Accessibility to Entry-Level Live-On Positions: An Emerging World for Bachelor-Level Professionals at the regional SWACUHO conference.
