Awards and Acknowledgements

• Congratulations to Danielle Kcholi on being named the American Southwest Conference men's Cross Country Coach of the Year for the second straight season after leading the Comets to back-to-back conference titles over the weekend.
• Congratulations to Keri Burns, director of the University Career Center, who recently was selected to participate in the NASPA 2020 Alice Manicur Symposium.

Athletics

• Nov. 5: Women's soccer vs. Belhaven, 5 p.m. soccer field. First round of ASC tournament. With a win, the Comets would advance to the ASC semifinals Friday at 4 p.m. in Abilene.
• Nov. 5: Men's basketball exhibition at UT Arlington, 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
• Nov. 5: Men's soccer vs. LeTourneau, 8 p.m. soccer field. First round of ASC tournament. The Comets will host the ASC semifinals (Friday) and title match (Sunday), regardless of Tuesday's outcome. With a win Tuesday, UTD will play at home at 11 a.m. Friday in the semifinals.
• Nov. 7-9: Volleyball hosts ASC tournament. After a first-round bye, UTD plays Friday at 5 p.m., Activity Center. With a win, the Comets would advance to the ASC title match at 1 p.m. Saturday.
• Nov. 16: Women's basketball vs. Southwestern, 2 p.m., Activity Center.
• Nov. 17: Men's basketball vs. Trinity, 3 p.m., Activity Center.

Military and Veteran Center

• Volunteers are needed to plant and remove flags on the campus mall for Veterans Day. Sign up for Nov. 8 (10-11:30 a.m.) or Nov. 12 (8:30-10 a.m.).

• Nov. 11: Veterans Day Balloon Display, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., SSA Game Lounge. In appreciation of military service, a large-scale U.S. flag made of balloons will be on display. Visit to learn about the history of Veterans Day and celebrate with a picture. Tag your pics on social media with #UTDVeteransDay.
