Health Center

• Flu vaccines are available to students on a limited basis and by appointment only. Call 972-883-2747 to schedule. For students with UT-SHIP (BCBS), cost is fully covered. For students with private/no insurance, cost is $5, which will be added to their account via the Bursar Office.

Intercultural Programs

• International student orientation is optional but recommended for those entering in spring 2021. ICP will host online and Teams Live information sessions starting in October for incoming students.
• Oct. 5: Global Hotspots. Learn about Filipino culture through hubs and hotspots in the Philippines, 1 p.m., Instagram.
• Oct. 6: Speak using American slang, terminology and behavior, 1 p.m., Instagram.
• Oct. 7-9: Food Swap Challenge. Learn traditions about different cultures. Post photos trying food from another culture on Instagram and tag #icpfoodswap.

Student Development

• Oct. 6: SOC monthly meeting, 7 p.m., Blackboard.
• Student Organization mail pickup: sign up to retrieve on Oct. 12 or 15.
• The application to attend the Virtual Global Leadership Initiative is now available and open to all students. Deadline is 5 p.m. Oct. 18.
• Students wanting to complete the Student Leadership Challenge must submit an initial interest form.
